• • Read through this website and fully understand what the program involves.
  • • Fill out an application form online and email us a photo too (so we know who you are when we meet you). Then, wait to hear from us. Our response time varies but we will respond to you via email within 1 week.
  • • If your application is approved, you will receive an email offering you a place. You must respond to this email to confirm your participation.
  • • We will then confirm that we have solidly booked you in. You will receive an email entitled "Booked". Only then should you arrange your trip.
  • • You have until 3 months before the start of the program to submit your travel details and medical form.
  • • If you are under 18 we will request written authorisation from a parent or legal guardian a few weeks before the program starts.

PAST PARTICIPANTS OF PUEBLO INGLES TEENS

  • • You do not need to fill out another application form! You can request new dates by going to our “request a program” page under the Apply section. Then scroll down to enter your Pueblo Ingles ID and password under the title "Request a Program". Once you receive confirmation from us that you are booked into a program, you can plan your trip. In addition to providing your travel details, you will also need to submit the medical and authorisation forms again.

FAQs ABOUT APPLICATION PROCESS

1.- Can I take part in more than one program?

Yes, you can participate in a maximum of TWO consecutive programs. No more than that because it's an exhausting program and we need you to be 100% at all times! Please let us know in your application if you would like to be considered for two programs.

2.- How do I know if I'm right for the program?

Check out the program objectives and commitments sections of our website.

3.- My application won't send. What can I do?

Firstly make sure you've filled in all the sections of the application form. Please use a PC for your application as our system has problems with Apple Macs.

4.- I don't have an email address or I will not be able to check my emails regularly- what should I do?

The best thing is to open an email account as all of our communication is done via e-mail, but if you don't want to do this, it's probably best to use one of your friends' or your parents' email addresses, preferably someone who checks their messages frequently.

5.- When will you respond to my application?

Whilst the response time varies, you should receive an email within 1 week.

6.- I've been before - do I need to apply all over again?

No. You can request up to five new dates by going to “Apply” and entering your Pueblo Ingles ID and password under the title "Request a program".

7.- I speak a little Spanish - Can I attend?

As long as you only speak a few words of Spanish you may be able to attend, that is only if you are certain that you will not be tempted to speak a word of it. If you're fluent or anywhere near fluent, I'm afraid it's a no. Sorry, but we promise the Spaniards that Anglos don't speak Spanish - it's vital to the program.

8.- When can I book my flights?

It is important that you do not make any travel arrangements until you have received an email entitled "Booked".

SUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS

If we cannot offer you any of your choices:
(i) We may ask you to request another program through the website. To do this go to http://anglos.ideup.com/webfinal/signup1.asp Under the title Request a program enter your Pueblo Ingles ID and password. Enter up to five choices of programs in order of preference. Scroll down and click SUBMIT APPLICATION.

(ii) We may offer you a place on one or two particular programs that were not part of your original choices. This is more likely if most of the programs are full, or if a candidate of your profile is needed in a particular program.

UNSUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS

There are generally two categories of unsuccessful candidates:
(i) Candidates that are rejected due to our strict selection criteria (e.g. because they speak Spanish or are not a native English-speaker).

(ii) Candidates that we cannot fit in to any of the scheduled programs. Please bear in mind that we need a diverse mix of profiles in every program. It is vital to achieving our objectives. Sometimes we are forced to turn down great candidates. In such a case please note that it's nothing personal, it's simply the way the program mixes have panned out and you will have another opportunity the following year.
