Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wander the cobbled streets of Valdelavilla while meeting Spaniards and other people from all over the world?  Now you can - directly from your own computer!  If you have already participated in Pueblo Ingles at Valdelavilla, in reality, you now have the chance to the reunite with your group virtually! 

Pueblo Ingles has recreated Valdelavilla, exactly as it in real life but this time in SECOND LIFE.  Second Life is set to revolutionise chat rooms and internet communities by emulating real life, where you can buy shoes (with real money!), cut your hair, and in the case of Pueblo Ingles, meet and chat with people from all walks of life. 

Pueblo Ingles is one of the first Spanish companies to build their “island” in Second Life where, in Sims-style, you can create your own character.  You can choose to create an avatar as an exact vision of yourself or you could look exactly as you always fantasised!    

The 3D world of Second Life already has 5 million users and we invite you now to visit Valdelavilla to meet old and new friends.  There will be Spaniards ready and waiting to talk your ears off, so if you are still as chatty and have never asked why Spanish women are all so slim, how the electoral process works or why old ladies in Spain are allowed to skip the queue at the supermarket, you can find out now! 

The official language, as in real life, is English so when you come across another visitor speaking Spanish (or any other language for that matter), you can tell them off!

You can become a member of Second Life by visiting www.secondlife.com and simply download the software which quickly install on your PC. Download these step by step instructions and remember that you must leave the orientation island to be able to find Pueblo Ingles and other locations.
