WHAT IS OFFERED TO VOLUNTEERS?

Volunteers at Pueblo Ingles enjoy a powerful and unique experience that can be incredibly exciting, rewarding and even enlightening. Our range of locations offers something different to the typical holiday destinations and participants have the opportunity to get to know the people and culture on a level that would otherwise be impossible without learning the language.

• We will provide all the information needed for you to plan your trip, and get ready to become a star volunteer!
• We will give you access you a personal website where you will be able to manage your participation and stay in touch with the Anglo Coordinators.
• The Anglo Coordinators will greet you before the program at an official Welcome Reception, to prepare you for the program.
• The provision of high standard accommodation for the duration of the program, plus your return coach tickets to and from our village.
• All of your food will be provided throughout the program, including buffet breakfasts, and three-course lunch and dinners with wine.
• We cover all our volunteers with an accident policy while participating in the program.

WHAT ARE THE REWARDS?

 

• A unique and fascinating insight into the people and culture, without having to speak the language.
• A chance to share your knowledge on a topic that is dear to you. It could be anything from a presentation on martial arts, to a summary of evolutionary biology, or a tale of your close encounter with a hungry crocodile!

• The chance to get to know a group of diverse individuals from all walks of life and to form long-lasting relationships.
• The presence of an experienced, friendly and energetic Program Director and Master of Ceremonies. They will work flat out to make sure the program is fun, stimulating and smooth-running. Whatever dynamic duo you get on your program it's bound to be a dream team!

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

 

• Your main costs can be broken down into three areas: flights, accommodation before/after the program and additional expenses.

1. Your journey to and from Madrid, Barcelona or Munich (The departure points are different depending on the venue or country you are visiting).
2. At least one night's accommodation – the night before the program and the day the program ends (although if you can get a flight out later in the evening on the returning dat, there would be no need for you to stay another night).
3. During the actual program you will only need to finance:
- between-meal snacks or refreshments (almost always unnecessary as the meals are plentiful!)
- drinks or refreshments (water and wine are provided in meals; soft drinks are not)
- phone calls (we recommend you to buy an international phone card, or get a local mobile)
- laundry services (if required)
- over-the-counter medicine (while you will be taken to see a doctor upon any health, our policy does not cover the cost of any medication prescribed)
