The project, launched in 2001, was created as a complimentary tool to traditional English teaching methods. Many students reported that their hundreds of hours of traditional class did not prepare them for putting their language skills into practice at business meetings and conference calls. The frustration and anxiety that they felt while trying to express themselves had to be addressed. As a result two business partners, one in the English language industry and another a financial expert, launched Pueblo Ingles
The tremendous success of that first pilot program in July 2001 was followed by many more. The addition of sites all around Spain and in Italy broaden the range of spectacular locations which foster this unique English language experience. These venues have hosted a variety of special editions such as Pueblo Ingles for Teens, Pueblo Ingles for Doctors (Pediatricians, Dermatologists, Immunologists, Urologists, and Rheumatologists), Pueblo Ingles for Teachers, Pueblo Ingles for University students and Pueblo Ingles Book Club.

Under the “More Than English” umbrella, The Pueblo Ingles Programs are the core of our business. Complemented by a range of other associated offerings – all endeavoring to improve the use of the English language.
Masters in English
An intensive masters program has been developed with professionals in mind. With different levels of “full-time” classes 25 hrs/week and “part-time”(Executive) classes 10hrs/week, this nine-month program delivers fast results. The group of teachers, each with their own specialty, offer a comprehensive agenda of activities to raise the student's level in all aspects of communicating in English. Since February 2009, the English masters program has been available online to anyone in Spain (and the world really!). The Masters program is our most intensive language program. The course runs throughout the year (from October – July or February – December) and consists of weekly classes and residential programs. There are a maximum number of 6 students per class; and one of the most rewarding aspects of the course for teachers is that they are generally extremely motivated.
There are 4 formats: Full-time Masters in English; Executive Masters (weekends and weekdays); Online Masters (weekday morning, afternoon or evenings).
In-Company and Private Classes
Our clients' English needs are assessed to provide the most appropriate training, whether it be in-house or at our offices in Madrid. We currently have 50 teachers teaching private and group classes in small to large companies in the Madrid province. These classes are particularly popular for students who attended Pueblo Ingles programs and want to maintain their level.
Intensive Grammar Residential Courses
Only one out-of-every ten Spaniards can honestly say they speak English if the question is asked in a job interview. The objective during our grammar programs is for each student to learn enough to handle any situation comfortably, even a job interview. Once we know a student's level and his or her needs, we set objectives for their 5-day or weekend program and create a study plan to ensure that they are met. Each group (made up of 2 to 4 students with a similar level) will be assigned the same number of teachers of different nationalities and backgrounds in order to expose the students to an array of accents and approaches.
English Required is a job search engine for companies who are looking for personnel that posses a high or even bilingual level of English. Companies placing job vacancies on this popular job portal benefit from a selection of high quality staff as previously screened using very specific criteria. This site, used by Spanish job seekers, is also visited by other English speakers living in Spain and even includes some natives!
More Than English TV
Our web-based TV show delivers English around the clock, to students around the globe. We have a diverse mix of programs including news, reports, interviews and classes that help tune in ears whilst developing pronunciation and grammar accuracy.
Summer Camps - Pueblo Ingles for Teens @ the different enclaves all over Spain
How do you fancy taking part in a fun-filled program in Spain, meeting teens from all over the world and more importantly without your parents lurking in the background? We host you for the entire week for free! All you have to pay for is your flight and before and after accommodations and we take care of the rest!
Weekend and Easter programs @ the different enclaves all over Spain
Along with the 8-day and 15-day Teen programs in the month of July we offer weekend courses at our country venue in Soria. These courses are tailored to kids from 8-12 years of age and 13-17 years of age. From Friday afternoon to Sunday night, the youngsters practice their English through games, debates and activities while avoiding traditional classroom techniques that can be restrictive. Being completely immersed in English, their leaders are all native English speakers with plenty of energy and pizzazz. These programs are also done over the Easter break.
After School Work Shops @ our Kids and Teens headquarters in Madrid
At Kids and Teens the after school activities we organize are dynamic, diverse, interactive and exciting for the students. Parents bring their children here because they want their child to associate learning English with being fun, and they want their child to learn through fun games and activities. Students learn a large range of vocabulary and get to practice English in dynamic situations. The idea is that the kids learn new vocabulary each class related to a theme or topic; they then put this vocabulary into practice during the class. We divide the students according to the following age ranges and no more than 6 to 8 students per group.
Infants: kids between 3 and 6 years old; Kids: children between 7 and 12 years old; Teens: students between 13 and 17 years old.
